Studying Business, working with numbers is inevitable. Business Talks is a non-profit organization. Nevertheless, we have to raise funds in order to be able to organize speaker events and other business-related activities for students.

The financial department of Business Talks prepares you in many ways for your job as future businessmen and businesswomen, as well as supports you on your journey into the world of entrepreneurship.

 

What you can expect:

  • Accountability of finding ways to raise funds in order to keep Business Talks being able to operate
  • Accountability of controlling balances and funds
  • Ability to create financial basis and find appropriate Sponsors/Business Partners
  • Partnering with ‘The Agent’ department which are responsible for negotiating with Sponsors/Business partners chosen by you
  •  Responsibility of keeping cash and bank accounts updated and safe
  • Cooperation with ‘Stocks Floor’ student organization in order to stay informed about changes regarding financial economy
  • Maintain documentation for all the procedures following while working for Business Talks
  • Accountability of preparing and presenting financial reports of current balances to Business Talks Lead

In this role you will be called upon to:

  • Create the financial backbone of Business Talks using knowledge gained through lectures or other sources
  • Demonstrate ability of teamwork to interact and grow individually and as team
  • Update yourself about financial standards
  • Use your creativity and entrepreneurial mindset to grow

Minimum Qualifications – Each candidate is expected to:

  •  Student of HFU with at least 1 semester to be studied at HFU
  • Applicant must belong to Villingen-Schwenningen Campus
